Water pollution is a significant issue all over the world.  The existence of contaminants does great harm to plant and sea life, causing major health problems for animals and humans through bio-amplification.  This workshop gathers researchers and industry professionals working on current water issues, pollutant detection methods, and novel water remediation solutions.

The workshop will be held to promote communication and cooperation between Indian and Canadian water sector and is a great platform to exchange ideas and offer solutions for challenges in rural and First Nation communities.

Lastly, the 2-day event will also explore entrepreneurial and commercialization opportunities in the water sector and how students and researchers can drive innovation.
